A Review of Corona Virus COVID 19

A Review of the Coronavirus - Covid-19

COVID 19 was first recognized in Wuhan, China in late 2019.

What is a coronavirus?

A coronavirus is a virus that affects your nose, sinuses or upper throat.

Speculators believes it may have been spreading earlier in 2019 than reported by China, however a full investigation into how Covid 19 spread around the world needs to be completed before this can be determined.

Some of the worst hit countries include Italy, United Kingdom, Brazil, Russia and USA. This is mainly due to their governments delays in controlling this virus and lack of people control.

This may sound like a harsh term 'people control' however this was a mitigating circumstance where control was necessary to prevent the spread of COVID 19 and ultimately deaths.

Hospitals becoming overwhelmed and unable to cope with all the admission inevitably meant that some people could not receive the life saving treatment that they required.

Facial masks have been advised by the Who for people to wear when out in public and on public transport. However there has been little to make this mandatory thus spreading the Corona virus further.

COVID 19 symptoms include:

  • High temperature
  • Continuous cough
  • A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

Most symptoms can be treated at home and those infected are encourage to stay at home to prevent spreading the virus. However some people are badly affected by COVID 19 and require hospital treatment with symptoms which include respiratory problems.  Other health issues can also occur as a side result of having the coronavirus such as heart failure.

Somebody can have a heart attack because they contracted COVID-19, who wound't have otherwise done so.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) declared COVID 19 a pandemic on March 11 2020.
